| Antique and good quality patinated bronze figure of "The Marble Faun" also known as "The Faun of Praxiteles".
With long hair and naked except for a lion skin.
Very well modelled and cast.
Signed along the base in the bronze F. Barbedienne fondeur and also carrying the Colas reduction mark.
France circa 1880.
10 inches high by 4 inches wide by 3 inches deep ( 25 cm by 10 cm by 7.5 cm). |
