| An attractive English Edwardian balloon shaped mantel clock. Veneered on oak with finely figured mahogany and with satinwood stringing. The rectangular base with several mouldings sports a fine satinwood fan inlay over the base. Clear white convex enamel dial with glass covered bezel to the front. 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong. Movement backplate signed Vincenti. Circa 1900. 12.5 inches high by 7.25 inches wide by 5.75 inches deep ( 31.25 cms by 18.125 cms by 14.375 cms). |
