| A quite stunning and extremely rare English Edwardian scarlet tortoiseshell and ivory mantel clock with hand painted chinnoisserie scenes. The beautifully and highly colourful scenes painted on the front, sids and top of the domed case. The clock with ivory bracket feet and ivory stringing to the front edge of the clock.
8 day movement with integral key and platform lever escapement. Circa 1900-05. 8.5 inches high by 5.75 inches wide by 3.25 inches deep ( 21 cms by 14 cms by 8 cms). |
