| A fine neo-classical patinated bronze of a young boy naked standing over the head of a defeated giant by the Italian born English artist Enzo Plazotta. This is titled "Spirit of Rebellion" and calls on the iconography of David and Goliath.
Enzo Plazotta was born in 1921 and died in 1981 aged 60. He lived most of his life in London.
The bronze is titled to the front bronze base and has a foundry mark to the rear. Also an edition tab is attached to the rear of the marble base.
10.5 inches high by 4.5 inches wide by 2.75 inches deep ( 26.5 cms by 11.25 cm by 7 cm). |
