The inkwell is marked "Mappin and Webb Nice Importe Anglaterre".All the silver is hallmarked for Mappin and Webb, Birmingham 1913. It has an intrigueing inscription date of 1894-1914. A really fabulous and unusual desk piece and would make a paperweight fit for a gale, weighing in at a massive 7.5 lbs or 3.54 kilos.
